Anyone used plastic shower panels rather than tiles to redo a bathroom? Looking for ways to renovate our very tired looking bathrooms without learning to tile and came across the concept of these floor to ceiling panels that you just glue onto the existing wall. Has anyone here used them? Were they easy to fit? Have they lasted? With pvc panels, as I think it'll be relatively straightforward and easy to keep clean etc. Anyone had their bathroom done with this stuff, and if so, how did you find it (was it simple to have installed etc)? I am looking into installing PVC wall panels in my bathroom that is partially tiled with mismatched tiles, rather than taking the old tiles out and putting new ones in.
I cant find much information from sources other than the manufacturers. So I have lots of questions 1. Are they really.

Beautiful and Functional: PVC Panels for Your Bathroom Walls
In recent years, Waterproof PVC Wall Panels have become a favorite choice for bathroom designs, thanks to their blend of practicality and style. Homeowners are increasingly turning to PVC panels as an alternative to traditional materials like tiles or natural stone. I have seen some plastic wall panels slightly with a flex and the finish looks cheap.
Also these have to be fitted properly otherwise water can ingress through the panel joins. I would possibly use the panels in second bathroom/ensuite and would go for a higher quality panel as the cheaps ones can also discolour over time. Have you also considered either Transolid or Swanstone solid surface shower/bath wall panels? They'll get you away from tiles and grouts as well.
