Moved into a new house recently, was a small amount of the mould on the ceiling in the shower however it has been spreading and getting worse. Would assume the previous owners did not use the special bathroom mould paint on it but would ideally like to avoid having to repaint it. Even if it does get moldy unless just pure negligence, you can wipe it off (if white ceiling paint you can use bleach). This is my go to for bathroom ceilings. Just to be clear you paint your whole bathroom with oil based primer.
